So if you are just trying to empty the field and are hitting errors, why don't you just delete the field itself? You will have to first remove it from any forms and views that you've added it to. -- Donal McCarthy Digital Marketing Administrator BrightWork Galway --

@Donal McCarthy I'm not sure what you mean by what type of column is it? sorry. I just created a text box called unique customer id. I then created a personal view and added that column in. I tried to populate that column for all active accounts A1, A2..... etc... most took but then a few...

What type of column is it? Some columns are not nullable via import. You should be able to do this with Bulk Data Updater in Xrm Tool Box - it has a 'Set null' option. -- Donal McCarthy Digital Marketing Administrator BrightWork Galway --
