D365UG | CRMUG UK (Birmingham) Chapter Meeting - July 2019

When:  Jul 17, 2019 from 06:30 PM to 09:00 PM (BST)
Associated with  United Kingdom – D365/CRM
Our next Birmingham Dynamics 365 User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 17th July 2019 from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm.

The Wesleyan has once again kindly agreed to host our event at Colmore Circus, Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6AR. This is next to Snow Hill Station and a short walk from New Street Station.

Our July meeting covers three great topics:

  • @Joe Griffin

Leveraging Power BI with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
With the introduction of the Power Platform, an awareness of Power BI moves from being desirable to absolutely essential when building a truly unified and engaging business application solution. In this session, I hope to provide a 'crash course' discussion on how and when to use Power BI with D365 Customer Engagement, before then looking at the various options available to access D365CE data and streamline the adoption of your Power BI solution

  • @Neil Parkhurst

Omnichannel Engagement Hub, a cool new tool .... and maybe a USD killer?
Presentation on the features of Omnichannel Engagement Hub. Including demos of it working in two different UIs (Omnichannel's own hub and USD.)

  • @Imtiaz Hussain

Dynamics 365 Portals - A must for every business
Covers what Dynamics 365 portals are why they are a must for all companies.  Selecting and provisioning the right portal, licensing, content authorisation and publishing, exposing Dynamics 365 CE entities and data to the portal, creating user journeys using wizard-style forms. Liquid templating, using Bootstrap to apply company branding and examples of development of portals

Plus we'll have all our usual networking opportunities and an amazing free buffet.

Once again we will be going for a quiet drink after the meeting - come and join us!  We'll be meeting at the The Old Joint Stock at 9.30pm.

The B4 Parking car park is just around the corner from Wesleyan. Map to B4 Parking:
