Dynamics 365 Outlook Web App

    Hi all
    We have had a lot of issues with the Dynamics 365 Add-in for Outlook client and have decided to try the Dynamics 365 Outlook Web App.  We have had success in that we can now link emails into Dynamics, however where there is no contact existing in Dynamics, Outlook unhelpfully creates one for us (which bypasses mandatory fields etc).

    We were able to switch this 'Create Contact' off in the Outlook Client, but can't work out how to do this in the Web App.

    Does anyone have any experience of this please?

    Did you check this setting in Personal options on the email tab? Or is this the setting you already tried?

    Thanks, but that's the setting we made in the Outlook client.  We are looking for the same thing, but in the Outlook Web App (browser version of Outlook 365)...

    Ah, but I meant did you check that setting in Personal Options in the web interface?

    Aha! A light bulb moment!

    We changed that in the client, but when we just checked in Dynamics, it was un-ticked there too - didn't realise those were 'doing' the same thing.

    Worked a treat - thank you SO much...
