Hello, Everyone. In Dynamics 2013 (on-premise), the out-of-the-box functionality of the social pane causes our sales team angst because of the myriad of activities that roll up to the account from all of the contacts, and it makes it very difficult for them to find a conversation history or a specific activity. We tried to create a separate grid to pull in email, appointment, task, and phone call activities specifically, but the grid is inconsistent in showing these activities, and we can't understand why.
Is anyone aware of a solution that a third-party has created that replicates the idea of the Social Pane but allows it to be configurable? OR, what does the 2016 CRM solution look like? Is it configurable?
We're on 2016 Online and it doesn't look like the social pane is any more configurable than it has been. In fact, we've recently integrated Yammer and even though that is a 'tab' in the social pane, I can't set it as the default for the form. I checked the Power Add-Ons from Power Objects and didn't see anything, but maybe someone else knows of other ones out there.
I'm curious about the inconsistencies in your sub-grid results as that seemed like the most promising option.
I'll keep looking, but it might be worthwhile to dig into those sub-grid results to see if there's a pattern on what isn't showing up.
