I caught up recently with @Rick McCutcheon, Canadian Dynamics 365 User Group Chair and Dynamics MVP, to talk about his participation in Collaborate Canada, being held in 5 cities across Canada in November 2018. Details about the events can be found here.
Tony: Thank you for participating at the upcoming Collaborate Canada, Rick. Why is this conference series so important to the Dynamics community in Canada?
Rick: As you know, Tony, we have been building the Dynamics User community for over a decade in Canada. Our annual Collaborate Canada roadshow is the one time we bring together all the pieces of the Dynamics ecosystem. We are planning on hosting Dynamics Customers, Partners, ISVs and of course Microsoft for day-long educational events in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, and this year we are excited to be adding Ottawa.
Tony: What sessions will you be leading at Collaborate Canada?
Rick: I’ll be leading two sessions the first being my newest and most popular workshop called the Digital Transformation of B2B Sales where I will lead participants through a session on how B2B companies are retrofitting their sales teams with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Cloud and related technologies. This is happening at a rapid pace to meet the changing demands of their customer and prospect buying processes.
My second session is one that I have been updating and delivering for over a decade called Planning Your Successful Implementation of Dynamics 365 CE/CRM. This workshop teaches organizations how to effectively plan and implement Dynamics 365 projects. We will focus on Pre-Project Planning, Design and Build and User Adoption.
Tony: So, I take it you are convinced Collaborate Canada is an important event?
Rick: Product updates in functionality and capabilities found in the Fall 2018 Release make Microsoft the clear market leader in Sales, Customer Service, Finance and Operations. Additionally, the power of the integrations to Office 365 and the Azure Cloud and ever-increasing growth of ISV add-on products are causing unprecedented growth. Collaborate Canada provides attendees with the knowledge and tools to stay up-to-date on the latest product enhancements.
Tony: This is the second year for Collaborate Canada. What can you tell us about what participants can expect?
Rick: At Collaborate Canada you’ll get impressive new learning delivered by some of the top global Dynamics 365 educators along with cutting-edge experience delivered directly from our end-user community. When you put this together with plenty of networking opportunities from our entire ecosystem, people will come away with a total Dynamics 365 growth experience with tangible steps you can begin to implement right away into your business.
Tony: Thanks Rick for your many contributions. I look forward to seeing you at Collaborate Canada!
